Understated sex appeal is the way to go whenever you want to look good but not show too much skin. For me, less really is more, for office dressing and date nights.
If you been checking out my blog, you might have noticed that green is my colour of the season, and I like to wear it to various occasions. For informal outings, I tend to be a bit playful and wear it with fish net tights and biker jacket, but for meetings and business lunches I prefer lighter colours.
This dress I bought last year when I went out with my boyfriend, for Valentines and even though it is not necessarily a date night-dress, I thought it looked nice and I got a lot of compliments for it.
I am having all sorts of business meetings for my blog today, all around Knightsbridge so I can afford to wear the highest heels I’ve got in my wardrobe, Christian Louboutin’s Pigalle 120. Anyone who owns them knows they are horrendous to walk in, but they look so good and they instantaneously make you feel sexier.
As a bag is concerned, I need mine to fit iPad and my notebook, but for an evening out a nice nude or even white clutch bag will be beautiful. Lately, metallic ones are my favourite.
This look can take some heavier pieces of jewellery like a big cocktail ring or a chunky bracelet. Makeup can also be a bit accentuated, a smokey eye will give a depth to the appearance but I would keep the nude lip not to clash with the dress.
Hopefully, you like my business/date night look and it will help you choose your valentine outfit.
Please, let me know what is your favourite date night look.
Lots of love,
