New Year’s Eve is a night when you can go all out on sparkles, it’s probably the only night when you can mix sequins with sequins. They make everything look more glamorous.
Just because you can, doesn’t mean you have to. I really love sequins, but as this year im leaving home quite early to start the New Year’s celebrations I’ve decided to rework and restore classic metallic dress by adding some roll neck and some tights.
This is a good way to keep me warm in the cold English wind. Also, if you get hot later in the night, you can just take layers off.
This dress in this mix, you can wear during to a lunch during day without problems. If you are not a big fan of glistening shades and fabrics that shimmer in the daytime this sparkly dress would go well together with over the knee boots and bare legs as well.
Everyone went crazy when Vetements, Paco Rabanne and Lanvin brought sequins to the spring/summer 2016 catwalks. The trend is not going anywhere any time soon and now is the right time to embrace it.
It now pays to look like you’ve had fun in making an effort to dress up. Particularly when your dress lights up the room. Literally.
Hopefully you will brighten up some rooms tonight with a lot of glamour and your beautiful energy,
I wish you have a fabulous night tonight, I wish you have fun and the most important I wish you be safe.
Lots of love and happy New Year!
